Enerva

For electricity retailers

Enerva is an electricity-bill auditor and tariff comparison service for mainland Spain and the Canary Islands. This page sets out plainly what we do, what commercial relationship we have with retailers today (none), and on what terms we would work with yours.

Our commercial position today

We put this first because it is the first thing you will want to know: Enerva has no commercial agreement with any retailer, takes no commission on any switch and earns nothing from appearing in our results.

  • Retailers are named and linked with no agreement in place — exactly the same treatment for those who might one day pay us and those who never will.
  • Order is decided by estimated annual cost for the specific household. There are no featured slots, no bidding, no sponsored ordering and no way to buy visibility.
  • If a commission ever existed, it would change what the user sees — the commission disclosed in €/kWh beside the recommendation, plus an alternative from a retailer that does not pay us — but not the order. The ranking is computed before any commission is read, and a commissioned recommendation without that comparison is blocked in code.

What Enerva is

A household submits its bill — by scanning the mandatory QR code, uploading the PDF, connecting Datadis or entering the figures by hand — and our engine recomputes their annual cost against their real consumption. The result says where they overpay: excess contracted power, misapplied IGIC, unnecessary add-on services or, where it applies, a better tariff. The audit is free and requires no switch.

The market we serve

Mainland Spain is our primary market. The Canary Islands are our declared specialism: the archipelago bills with IGIC instead of VAT and shifts the tariff time bands relative to the mainland, two details we handle explicitly in the calculation engine and give their own pages. The service operator is established in Granada.

How the audit works

The calculation is deterministic, not an estimate: we start from the prices printed on the user's own bill or from their real hourly Datadis curve, and compare against a table of offers verified one by one in each retailer's own publication. If the user decides to act, they sign an explicit authorization; the switch is legally executed by the incoming retailer, not by Enerva.

What working with Enerva gets you

  • Your tariffs represented accurately. Every price comes from your own publication, carries the date we checked it, and the snapshot it entered is archived with its sha256 fingerprint; if something is wrong there is a date and a version to point at, and a corrections channel with a 48-hour deadline.
  • No stale prices on display. After 45 days without re-verification, the row is withdrawn automatically instead of continuing to be shown.
  • A real right of reply: a corrections channel with a 48-hour deadline, a full trail of every state change, and a mandatory resolution note before it can be closed.
  • Informed users. Someone who reaches you after going through Enerva has already seen their annual cost calculated on their own consumption, plus the link to the CNMC comparator. They sign up knowing exactly what they are signing up for, and why.
  • If you would rather give us your tariffs through a direct channel than have us read them off your website, our data policy already provides for that: a data agreement with an accuracy warranty. We have not activated it with anyone yet; if you would like to be first, let's talk.

What Enerva will never do

  • We never sell or share our users' personal data for marketing. A user's data reaches a retailer only when that user has signed an explicit authorization for their own switch.
  • We never make or enable cold sales calls. The absence of calls is a promise the user explicitly accepts before any assisted switch.
  • We never use dark patterns: no fake countdowns, no invented scarcity, no pre-ticked boxes, no saving quoted without saying what it is calculated against.
  • We never sell ranking position. This is not a policy we can relax in a meeting: the ranking function does not take commission as an input.

Seeing your data misrepresented?

Write to us with the offer and the disputed figure and we handle it within 48 hours. No account and no prior relationship needed: a retailer whose tariff is shown wrongly must be able to fix it without asking anyone's permission.
